plague of the college vampire zombies

September 13th, day 1

On my first day of college,

me and mates entered the college and i didn't no my way around so it was hard to find where i was going i was quite nervous because i had not experienced something like that in quite a while.We all signed up for the photography course our first task that we had been set is to take photos of the garden area, then when we went outside we had to take photos of the plants and all the features of the garden area.

someone in my class who i had only just met kicked the nuclear waste container, all sorts of things started to happen when this fell and a green cloud covered the college. This nuclear gas was in the air everyone was knocked out then i woke up next to George and Sam we were the only three that were normal, everyone else was stood around us with flesh and blood dripping from their vicious mouths.



September 14th,day 2  

I have created an image and added a effect this looks like a zombie, it has a shade of darkness and on the neck and face white/blue patches this has created the effect of cold blooded and vicious. i have took a photo of a pupil in the class and edited it using the software adobe photoshop CS3. Here you can see my image to the left i have used the burn tool to make the dark places and his eyes and mouth. the sponge tool has added the effect of it been light then dark and mixed in places. i used the hue/saturation and toned down the saturation and lightness this is to make it look like the zombie more real life. The three students escaped towards the library and the picture i have took they are running underneath it towards the exit but all the zombies are hanging and falling from the  stairway trying to attack the students.


September 15th, day 3 
They nearly make it towards the exit until all the zombies come from underneath the stairway and try to attack them so they run into the cafe and hide behind the service area and chuck the utilities at them.To distract them they chuck all the meat and slowly creep into the kitchen where there are knifes.

This is a photo i took outside the college of students in my class i am going to edit this so it looks like a group of zombies.I am using this to show people trying to escape from the college and get away from the zombies, it can also look like their waiting for the people that are still alive.

This is a picture of the college i can create a effect where zombies will hang over the stairway and i can make the college look dark and all smashed up this is so you can tell the zombies have been there.

I took this picture outside, i am going to use it because i will escape this way because round the corner their are skips and i could use weapons if i get followed and block them off with the motorbikes.





I could use this image for the zombies following me and the three of us trying to escape from the college.

Today i have been on a tour of the college and have took videos and photographs of the college and pupils at the college, i am going to show some of the picture that i am going to edit so then it will look more like a zombie and i am going to create a scenery that the main part will take part.

This is a picture of a student in my class and he is stood against the wall, posing as if he was a zombie this will be easy to add a effect and make it look realistic.i could use this if i was trying to escape over the wall and him stood there with others waiting for us to try and get over.

September 16th, day 4

I have took a video of the outside of the college, the reason i have done this is  then i can add a effect and i am going to use it as part of my scenery for my assignment about the vampire college zombies.

The effect i have added makes it look a bit blurry this is so i can fade the zombies into the background, i will do this by getting one of the pictures i have took and editing it in photoshop. I created the effect for the video by using final cut pro  this is a good software for developing and editing videos.

As we were hiding in the kitchen and the zombies were trying to get in we were blocking them off by putting trolleys in front of the door this was quite a useful idea. As the blood was dripping from the door and the zombies are smashing the windows they weren't getting in until the door broke of its hinges and a 7 ft zombie step over the trolleys and ran at us.

September 17th, day 5

As the tall zombie came running at us we dodged it and found a exit that went down to a cellar, we took this option and ended up below the college this contained electricity wires and metal works. There was a shine of light coming from the side of the cellar surely this got them out they smashed away at the wooden door and when they got through it they climbed up the steps and were outside the college.

when they were outside the college they were zombies coming from both left and right so they ran straight on towards the riverside stadium and they saw a ship waiting just about to take off. They sprinted  towards the ship climbed on board and then as the ship was moving slowly the zombies faded away in a distance and went to powder.

I have another blog which has a video that i have embedded in from meta cafe and then i have explained about the main character Simon Pegg and his role in this highly rated movie.It also includes a link to another blog that i found about zombies and it talks about the film Shaun of the dead, i talk about the movie and where i would like my scene to be set in Middlesbrough college.I would like my scene to be set in the engineering/ construction area so i can use all the tools and objects to defeat the zombies.

Review/Reflect

I liked this assignment because it was challenging considering i have never made a blog so at first it was quite difficult, i have enjoyed working on the blog and making it successful and appropriate for the certain specification i have been given.Walking around the college and taking photos and videos was also very good because you can take a picture and edit by using the software adobe photoshop and editing the video in final cut pro this is a good software to use because you can just drag and drop effects onto the video and have a look to see which on you thinks the best. For my video i chose the indent because it makes the college look like it was a zombie movie.

The only thing that wasn't so successful for me is i was off for two days so i had work to catch up on and it took some time considering i didn't no how to use most of the software's.

I have learned how to use final cut pro and also edit in photoshop i still need to develop my skills in photoshop because I'm unsure how to use it properly, i have also learned how to make a blog and post it into the blog.I now know how to add a picture and a video but when you add a video you have to use a embedded code this is to allow it to play on your page.I also know how to link pages into the blog then all you have to do is click on the link and it will take you to the website.

If i could improve my blog i would add more detail to my information and to my scenes and days this would allow me to get a better grade, i would also spend more time on photoshop if i had developed skills for the software then i could make my image look more realistic.

I liked using blogger.com to create my blog and i think that my blog is successful and hopefully i have done this assignment to the correct specification.
